Resort Owner
Loses $1 million in Land Hustle w/ 2 Gov't Ministers Three weeks ago the BTB blitzed the local
media with
news and ads about tourism week. Every message underscored the theme
that regular Belizeans were in on the tourism product at all levels,
from policy to ownership to management to service professions. But that
message rings terribly hollow for one local resort owner who has been
systematically chanced, swindled and hustled out of his dream
development. MoreFuture of the Caribbean Lies in Integration Delegates in Havana at the 8th International

train intermediary organizations on E.U. market access
legislation, how to get into the E.U. market which consists of about
four hundred and fifty million consumers. It is a large market and it
is not easy to penetrate, you'd also need to apply specific
legislations if you would like to send your products to the European
market. More
Costa Rica election another blow to US trade pact A U.S. free trade pact with Central America,
already delayed by a
legal wrangle, has run into further trouble at presidential elections
in Costa Rica where voters punished the main pro-trade candidate. Costa
Rica's electoral board began a recount on Tuesday of the vote from the
weekend, which ended with a near dead heat despite opinion polls
showing free trade advocate Oscar Arias would win easily. More
